An organization from Kalamazoo got together to collect signatures to make it so that adults that are found possessing one ounce or less of marijuana will be considered the lowest law enforcement priority. It will save the city money, and give police officers the availability to target more serious offences. It is already legal to those with basically any kind of pain or past injury, so why waste much needed man power on something so petty. Alcohol is legal and people are killed every day because of it. I think its ridiculous to make someone go to jail for having marijuana and then have the prisons letting out rapist because the prisons are to crowded. I think that if anything they should just give a ticket and be done with it. That way the city is collecting money without wasting its time or jail space.
